How It All Started

I am a former butcher; I was market manager for Brookshire Brothers for many years until I went to work at ExxonMobil.

During those years with ExxonMobil I worked on my days off at my father’s deer processing business in Livingston, Texas.

After my dad passed away in 1999, with my experience in meat processing and love of hunting I decided to open my own business. This was going to be a small business to keep me occupied after retirement!  So in November of 2000, I opened for business. The first year I did all the work. In 2001 my stepson Bryan and my wife, Linda, came into the business. I forgot to mention my biggest helper, my granddaughter Marissa.

With the growth of our business, our #1 priority is customer satisfaction. We pride our self in the fact that we process each customer individually. I am also a hunter and I know how important this is to each and every hunter.

Most processors have gone to commercially smoketheir sausage (using sawdust for smoking) we still do it the old fashion way (oakwood).

We have a fast turnaround time 7 to 10 days with emphasis on quality product.

My business is family owned and operated and will continue to be handled in this manner.

We invite you to come and meet my family and become one of our satisfied customers.
